# Novel Polishing

Professionally polish novel text to enhance overall literary quality.

## Use Cases

Use when users need to "polish a novel", "improve writing", or "refine prose".

## Polishing Principles

### 1. Preserve Core, Strengthen Details
- Retain the original story meaning and writing style; do not rewrite fundamentally
- Enhance scene details for greater visual impact (sensory description, atmosphere, gestures and expressions)
- Expand key plot points appropriately to increase emotional impact

### 2. Enhance Dialogue Authenticity
- Character dialogue should match role identity, personality, and emotional state
- Natural and conversational, avoiding overly literary language
- Dialogue pacing should vary in intensity, paired with action and expression descriptions

### 3. Optimize Narrative Structure
- Smooth paragraph transitions, avoiding abrupt jumps or breaks
- Tense pacing: buildup → progression → climax → resolution
- Trim verbose passages for a tighter narrative line

### 4. Refine Language
- Remove repetitive phrasing and redundant modifiers
- Replace "adverb + verb" combinations with precise verbs
- Avoid clichés; pursue concise and elegant expression

## Workflow

### 1. Receive Text
Read the novel passage provided by the user and confirm:
- Whether full-text polishing or partial optimization is needed
- Any special stylistic requirements (e.g., preserve a certain dialect or tone)

### 2. Execute Polishing
Process paragraph by paragraph, outputting for each:
- **Original**: Mark key issues
- **Polished**: Optimized text
- **Change Notes**: Briefly describe what adjustments were made

### 3. Output Format

## Notes

- Do not change character names, place names, or core plot settings
- Do not add plot elements or settings not present in the original
- Preserve the original emotional tone and narrative perspective (first-person/third-person)
- For sensitive content (violence, politics, etc.), only optimize language without altering the nature of the content
