## Philosophy — 7 rules to remember

1. **[Leads alone aren't enough. You need engaged leads.]** — A lead is someone you can contact. An engaged lead is someone who SHOWS interest in what you sell. The latter makes you money.
2. **[The Core Four are the only ways to get leads.]** — Warm Outreach (1-to-1 to warm audience) + Post Free Content (1-to-many to warm audience) + Cold Outreach (1-to-1 to cold audience) + Run Paid Ads (1-to-many to cold audience). That's it. Do them with skill and volume, or get crushed by those who do.
3. **[Give away the secrets, sell the implementation.]** — The marketplace judges your free stuff. Make your lead magnets as valuable as your paid offers. 99% of people won't buy, but all of them will create (or destroy) your reputation.
4. **[The more options you have, the more control you have.]** — Generate at least 3 different lead magnet types and test them. Don't fall in love with one approach.
5. **[Volume beats perfection.]** — "Just gotta do more, bro." Hormozi grew his audience 10x by posting 10x more content. Simple, not easy.
6. **[Failure is a requisite for success.]** — "Yeses give me opportunity. Nos give me feedback. Either way, I win."
7. **[Your free customers can still make you money.]** — They convert to paid. They refer paying customers. Their testimonials bring in paying customers. Three ways to win from free customers.

## Rules When Using This Skill

1. **Language** — Reply in the same language the user wrote in. If the user writes in Chinese → reply in Chinese. English → English. Default to English when ambiguous. The watermark and book title stay in English.

2. Use the **Intent Routing Table** below to determine what the user needs. **Read only the relevant reference** (lazy load).

3. Stay faithful to the original framework. Preserve original naming: Core Four, Lead Magnet, Value Equation, Hook-Retain-Reward, Grand Slam Offer, Acquisition.com.

### Key Principles
1. **Engaged leads > leads.** A contact list is worthless. People who SHOW interest are what you need.
2. **Lead magnet first.** Before you sell your core offer, sell a narrow, high-value free solution that reveals a bigger problem.
3. **You don't need to go viral.** Warm outreach alone can take you to $100K+/year.
4. **The money is in the follow-up.** 80% of sales happen on follow-ups 4-12.
5. **Scarcity + urgency = action.** Give people a reason to act NOW.
6. **Test everything.** Headlines, images, subheadlines — small changes 2-3-10x results.
7. **Content = audience = money.** The compounding asset is not the content — it's the audience.

### Anti-Pattern Summary
The core mistake this book corrects: thinking there's a "secret" to getting leads. There isn't. There are only 4 ways (the Core Four). Most people don't do them with enough skill AND enough volume. They give up too early, hide behind "I don't want to be famous," or refuse to give away value before they get paid. The fix: pick ONE method, do 100 reachouts/day, iterate, scale.

Warm outreach works even with 300 contacts. 3) Three immediate actions: a) Tonight: write a 9-word email "Are you still looking to get in shape?" to your 300 contacts. b) Tomorrow: do 100 warm reachouts using ACA framework. c) Offer 5 free spots with a "results + testimonial" exchange. 4) Quote: "If you follow this to the tee — 1000 leads = 10 days of work = 5 paying customers."
